Artist's Description
These are some of my Nana's things. It is interesting how an object once owned by a person you love can evoke feelings of nostalgia. A thing becomes something much much more. A connection to the past. A portal through time. It collects more association as time passes too. Humans and our things.
About Cassandra Buckley
I enjoy nature and animals. I like to paint stylised animals and seem to be drawn to patterns and swirls. Photography allows me to experience the present and capture the past. Please note that the fine art America watermark does not appear on purchased items.
