There are a lot of mushrooms in early christian art. Some theorise that the ritual eating of mushrooms from the corpses of the dead was part of the early christian ritual. It is a practice which existed in many pagan cultures also. Just to throw a bit of controversy out there ;)
I enjoy nature and animals. I like to paint stylised animals and seem to be drawn to patterns and swirls. Photography allows me to experience the present and capture the past. Please note that the fine art America watermark does not appear on purchased items.
